Vacation Together With Your Family

While having dinner, they were showing R.V. "Runaway Vacation". It was awfully familiar, because I watched it before!

Well as I was watching it, I was thinking back about the times when my family went on vacation. We don't really go on vacations together, the most is to head back to Malaysia to visit our grandparents. Didn't exactly treat that as a vacation.

And it is true, teens being teens, we don't think its cool to play with our parents monopoly, cluedo, blah blah.

So true.

But now I kinda miss it. I wish I can sit down and play some board games with them.

My family actually plays Guitar Heroes together though. (heh. we are funky!)

Back to the point, this show also reminded me of the holiday trip we had back in 2008. The trip to Melbourne.

We actually went on a boat trip, in Mildura.

It was a house boat.

Since we were confined in a "house" on a boat in the middle of "I don't know where", somewhere along the Mildura river, it was definitely a time of bonding.

I really miss those times.

I miss everyone.

Mom, Dad, Bro and Lil Sis.

I wonder when we can do this again. :(

I love them to bits.

This was our house for 4 days 3 nights. (:

Well I think my parents are someone whom I really love a lot.

No matter how much they used to nag at me, scold me, caned me (yes I do get caned. and I was the stubborn one :p ) etc..

I still love them to bits.

Without them,

I wouldn't be able to have such a colorful education.

I took a long path.

The hard way.

But I still went to a local uni.

Had an overseas exchange experience, by attending Summer school in UCLA.

And now I am furthering my studies to do what I like, in UNSW.

I am thankful all these are made possible because of them.
