I am reminded why I don't like taking the trains here...

1 year ago, I was forced to take the train to Ikea, because thats the only mode of transport I have here. That is the downside of studying abroad and not having a car.

I had to go to Ikea to get my bed, bedsheets, table lamp, quilt, mmm I can't remember what else I got. So I went to Sydney buses and got all my directions to Ikea.

Basically I had to take a bus from Kingsford, Anzac Parade to Central station, and then a train to erm I can't remember which stop. But yeah.
Well, I was alone.
Scared.
And to my horror, I had to face 101 platforms (Alrighty I'm definitely exaggerating that its 101.) There were a few tv monitors with train station names strolling up, I didn't know which suburb the place was, so I was frantic, not knowing which screen to look at to find out which platform and time I am supposed to head to.
That was my very first experience.
And it definitely scared me.
Hur hur hur!

And today, I took the train for the 4th time ( there were 2 other incidences which I was forced to take the train.. one from domestic airport to international because I was smart enough to get off domestic thinking I could walk to international if I got off the wrong stop.. but nope I was wrong.. and the other was taking the wrong bus to chinatown. hahaha! ) Anyways back to my 4th experience.... the train station is dirty, dark and gloomy. I saw puke at one corner, dried up, it nearly made me puke. And the trains are smelly. hur hur hur!

So I must say, Singapore has one of the cleanest trains and we should be thankful for it!

And last but not least,
its SAFE (:

Hopefully thats the last.
;)

I'm off to zzzz land my secret readers!

Take care!
And have a good week ahead!
