100 random things dedicated for the year 2010.

A post dedicated to the year 2010, in this post I would be writing on 100 random things that reminds me of the year 2010. The ups and downs, the happy times and sad times, sweet and bitter memories. The year 2010 has come and gone just like that, but nevertheless it was fruitful in every single possible way. So let me get started with 100 random things of 2010!

1. I spent the very first day of 2010 with my boyfriend on Nicoll Highway catching the fireworks when the clocked struck 12.00.

2. I worked as an Engineer at a construction site.

3. I wore black construction boots and a white helmet to work every day for 2 months.

4. I cut my hair and straighten it in February and since then I have yet to visit my hair salon.

5. We nearly spent our first anniversary together in Macdonals because I was mischievous and told him I wanted the whole mackers to be lilted with candles.

6. Our anniversary was at Jaan, a place I would definitely recommend friends to bring their gf/wife for a special occasion.

7. Chinese New Year Eve was spent travelling 12 hours on the north south highway. L

8. Had a good time catching up with my cousins from mom side during CNY.

9. I didn’t feel that sad when I was leaving for Sydney again in Feb until I entered the departure area, reality set in then.

10. I met Alice Pong in semester 2.

11. I worked together with a couple of annoying people for biocomp.

12. I had the best Easter Break.

13. I spent part of Easter Break at Sheraton on the Park studying and watching TV with dear J

14. I went around Sydney again with darling and *winks*.

15. I cried again when he left.

16. I went to blue mountains with *winks* and gang.

17. Madang is my favorite Korean restaurant in Sydney.

18. I know how to eat fresh sashimi salmon now! :D

19. I ate hurricanes grill 2 times consecutively within 2 weeks.

20. I had the best flight back from SIN-SYD in July. 2 seats to myself on a full flight + meeting CX on the plane.

21. I met Michael in Semester 3. The 2^nd Singaporean classmate I had.

22. I met a bunch of lazy MCPs, I was furious.

23. I went to butter for the very first time with my GFs.

24. I learned to like shashimi.

25. I sprained my back, I couldn’t walk neither bend down.

26. My brother and his gf Jess visited me :D

27. I came back during the winter holidays. I’m such a spoilt brat.

28. I met a bunch of scary French people on the bus. I had to call Danny to come pick us up from the bus stop.

29. I went all the way to Bondi Beach twice by bus to have Churros with my friends.

30. I never been to Maroubra Beach despite living 10-15mins jog away from there.

31. I ate Nandos almost every other week in semester 2.

32. I conquered my driving fear in Sydney.

33. I went snowboarding for the first time with Eric and friends. It was awesome. I miss the tkd gang.

34. My laptop crashed and died during spring break. I was uber upset. Nearly bought a Mac.

35. I cried over the silliest things.

36. The bf made me so mad I nearly didn’t want to see him when I came back during Winter break.

37. We skyped almost every day.

38. We definitely almost smsed every day, unless he was away from the country.

39. My bf had to go to the moon and couldn’t sms me much, I missed him truckloads then. L

40. We didn’t go on a trip together.

41. I chose my birthday present :D

42. Ele babe treated me to an express manicure.

43. I painted my nails hot pink for the first time, and I am loving it!

44. I walked into a glass door, nearly broke my nose. L

45. I usually wear my Peter Alexander PJs to Pac Square to shop. HEHE

46. Coles is my favorite place!

47. I borrowed the most number of books in 2010!

48. I attended my first friend’s wedding, Kristin and Leonard.

49. He came for Christmas Eve service.

50. I nearly didn’t get my flowers on my birthday because I fell asleep.

51. I had a presentation on my birthday.

52. Eric and Alice celebrated my birthday together with me. We had Madang! :D

53. I went to check out Vivid Sydney with Eric and Alice.

54. Furqon and Muna invited us to their place before we all left. I will miss them and Rashid too!

55. Ken and I would always hang out mugging for clinical lab science quiz.

56. I was(still am) very ambitious in 2010. I wanted to prove to myself I could score distinctions.

57. I club consecutively for 3 weeks.

58. I reserved my first table.

59. I opened my first bottle.

60. The bf made me wait outside his house for 1 hr at 4am and he still did not open the door for me after I called him like 3423672654 times. I was furious. VERY FURIOUS.

61. But he was sweet enough to come all the way here the next day to spend it with me. Because he was sorry :p

62. We quarreled the most this year L I dislike this.

63. I sent cards and letters to him every week.

64. Except few weeks before my birthday I stopped, because I was angry over something I can’t remember. HEHE.

65. I carried 2 phones and 1 iPod touch all the time.

66. I had awesome food in Semester 2 because of *winks*

67. I enjoyed sharing and talking with *winks* every night before sleeping.

68. My washing machine threw a fit during the last few weeks.

69. My heater “exploded” and I had to bathe in cold water. It was torturing! I barely lasted 1 minute.

70. I hate summer, because it’s so warm and my house has no air-con.

71. Ong Peiyi and Vanessa came to Sydney during their semester break.

72. Darling came to Sydney again in early August. (:

73. I received my first expensive pen for Christmas from darling.

74. For every important occasion I got a blue box. :D

75. We nearly went snowboarding together.

76. I bought for him his very first player’s jersey for Christmas.

77. I surprised my bf and gfs when I came back from Sydney (for good).

78. I met my bf’s friends for the first time.

79. I nearly didn’t get back in time, because my plane made a dramatic U-turn back. I admit; I was scared.

80. The first person I want to see every morning is my bf. He makes me smile.

81. Sometimes I wish my bf would appear on my door step. HEHE

82. My bf was supposed to get sunflowers and balloons when I got back from Sydney, till today it has not arrived. (EHHH!!!!!! Where are my flowers? )

83. I sent my bf a birthday cake, because I couldn’t be around to celebrate it with him.

84. I tried to write almost every day in my blog.

85. I facebook almost every day. Tsk.

86. MSN is part of my life, and I can’t do without it.

87. I bought Estee Lauder’s facial wash for the first time. Old already, time to pamper myself. HEHE.

88. I bought PA homeboots for my birthday, thanks *winks* :D

89. I bought my first OPI too.

90. I KTVed twice with Michael in Sydney after our exams. It was fun!

91. Israel sent me cards.

92. There was no one to welcome me from the airport when I arrived in Singapore in November. L

93. I was very excited to see my darling again in November.

94. I met his pilot friends and gf/wife for the first time during New Years Eve.

95. We celebrated New Years Eve together with his friends.

96. In July, I knew he is the one already.

97. My friends always ask when I am going to marry him.

98. I love him very much, and even more each day.

99. I spent the least time with him in 2010. L

100. But we know we love each other very dearly. Just that sometimes he doesn’t show it.

100 random things! This must be my longest post of random thoughts. It began to become pretty hard writing random stuffs, but after recapping along the way, things started to flow and reminded me of the year 2010.

The year 2010 has gone, and the transition phase has gone by too. We have all come to face that its 2011 already. It’s another year, another great year ahead. I can’t wait to spend more and more happy days with him. (:
