The April Hot Date Experience! F1 Sepang! (((:

Internet Tethering....
It's a little slow, doubt I can upload pics.. so you guys would just have to wait for my awesome weekend pics! :)
Anyways without further a do.... let me share with you my F1 weekend experience in KL...
We flew up to KL, Subang on Firefly. It isn't as bad and scary as most people would think it is. It's actually pretty good. Perfect for couples. Because the whole plane is a couple seat plane. Heh!
So my bf was educating me a lil on the plane, and how it flies lower compared to a Boeing or Airbus. I was pleasantly surprised that the plane is really stable, we didn't experience much turbulence and it was a smooth nice flight. And a plus plus feature, they serve you refreshments on the house!
Subang is much nearer to KL as compared to KLIA too, so flying Firefly isn't that bad as what you think. ;)
My aunt came to pick us up together with my sister, miss her so much! And still missing her... :(
Then we headed back to her place to pick up my 2 other cousins, Xuelin and Kexin for dinner at my favorite Chinese restaurant. Somewhere in the neighborhood area. Their curry fish is awesomeeeeee! *yums* and calamari fried squid. :D I will upload pictures next time :D
After dinner we had to head to our hotel, because it was getting late already, so I had to say goodbye to my sis, aunt and cousins. :( We cabbed to Bukit Bintang. The driver was driving mad fast! So scary! Thank God we arrived safely at our destination, the Royale Bintang Hotel. Something we noted was that that area was still bustling with tourist and people walking around at 11pm! And shops were wide open.... but we were half dead so we didn't go out at all.
We were in for a treat at the hotel...after we checked in, we headed straight to our room, room 1505. We saw a privacy hanger outside the door, we felt something was amiss. When we tried to open the door, the card reader didn't allowed it. So once again we found ourselves at the front desk, with quite a queue. We informed the hotel front desk manager and he made some checks, we are guessing he realized that he gave us an already taken room. whooops. Thank goodness the door couldn't open, else it would be shocking! The guy was pretty nice and cool about it, he handed us quietly another card in a nicer envelope card holder. On the card holder it read The Royale Club Floor. Room 1805.
When we were in the lift, we saw we are heading to the Royale Club Floor! While walking past the rooms, some of the rooms had this sign on top of the door number "Executive Suite", and I joked "This is my room!" Never did we expect to be staying in one too! (((: So we had a free upgrade! WeeeEeee!!!

That night, we both crashed out. Awfully tired. Needed a good night's rest. But the pillow was bad bad bad! Nice room, nice bed, 2 tvs, big toilet, etc etc... but poor pillow. They need to change their pillows! Its too hard! He ended up tossing the pillow on the floor, and sleeping without one. And I ended up with a neck ache the next morning. But the sleep was still good (:

So with some rest, the next morning we checked-out and made our way to Pavilion Pit Stop to meet his friend and his friend's father in-law. On the way we had a nice root beer float and curly fries. yums yums! (:
Then we had Malaysian food at Madam Kwan's in Pavilion. I never fail to eat my favorite Assam Laksa (((:

And then freshen up again at his friend's uncle place and we started our journey to Sepang Circuit. (((:

The no. of cars trying to get there, it was crazy! Unless you are a VIP, else you would be stuck in the massive jam.... nobody to clear the way for you.
We were talking, saying we should arrive in style, come in a helicopter, land on the helipad. Ha! *dreams* Technically we have the man-resources. Just no helicopter. Haha! Because his friend is a helicopter pilot.

So by the time we arrived at Sepang Circuit, it was an hour plus before the race. We walked around the area, looked at the merchandises. The bf wanted to get Vettel's Red Bull No. 1 shirt, but they didn't have the size he wanted. :(
The weather was also so very hot hot hot and humid! The sky threaten to rain on us, and have my very first F1 and box seat race canceled!

Having corporate tix is really different, we have a separate queue to enter with a special sign for people with the green or red tag. I love special treatments, who doesn't? Heh!

We scouted around for our Box Seat... and finally found the room. It says Corporate Suite 8 outside. Woots! :D It's quite a spacious room with 2 dining tables and a few standing cocktail tables and sofa chairs inside. Free flow of beer, coke, sprite, water and juices. On top of that, FOOD. And we have our own personal toilet for the whole suite. Truly an amazing F1 experience for us. In the comfort of an air-condition room and TVs showing the race and updates of the lap timings.

My very first F1 race, first special pass, first time in Sepang Circuit, first time experiencing the F1 together with the bf and many firsts! Well, I'm loving it! I love the sound of zooooooming cars... I love speed. Exciting! ((: Hopefully there will be many more to come. I can't wait for September to come now! F1 Singapore! (((:

It was a good race, well for the bf especially. Best treatment he can ever imagine and his favorite driver whom he was rooting for was on the pole and won the race too! (: Yipee. I'm glad that we managed to make it for this race and had a really awesome and fun April Hot Date! A short getaway with lotsa thrills! (:

Many thanks to Auntie and Uncle for the tix (((:

I will upload my F1 experience once my internet is up, and that will be after 25th April....can't wait to be able to watch soccer,F1, Wimbledon, rubbishy korean dramas and etc.... ;)

For now, take care my secret readers!

And I will let you know more about the Republic of Singapore Air Force Open House once I find out more details (:

xoxo
