random topic?

Saturday I had my belated birthday brunch with my sec sch bestie, Delphi @ Robertson Quay at Keith Cafe.
It's a pretty chill cafe, the food was not too bad. But limited seating. And be warned, don't sit inside the cafe, the smell is overwhelming.

We chilled, walked, chatted and had coffee/tea at illys before we went to attend a youth and young adult church service.

I thank God I belong to a Church where I have been taught pretty firm about deception, false witnesses, charismatic movement, speaking in tongues, etc...
As I sat through the service, I knew where I belong. Back in my BP church.
The thing I noticed was how the Pastor preached a lot based on experience, testimonies, but not the word of God. He didn't refer to scriptures, didn't talk about the scriptures. For an old bird like me, it wasn't something scary, I was prepared for this kind of service, but for my poor bestie, it was a shocking experience and uncomfy one for her. I'm glad she attend my service in Sydney once, at least it build a foundation upon what a Christ like church is like.

I pray I wouldn't sway and keep my feet firm upon this kind of movement.

The past few days I have been getting good news yet not so sure news. No more Indo. But now Msia? If it's God willing, please send him to somewhere where our hearts want to be. I don't know if I deserve that year off, is it my plan or His plan? Lord guide me.

And thank God for confirmation.

Lord be with my parents and sister as they are back in Msia too.

Lastly, I'm so happy for my brother! (: Congrats :D
If I do go for the MCAT and do get in.... all the girls will be Doctors in the family. hahaaa... *dreams*
