The August Hot Date
Yesterday marked 911 days of us going through our ups and downs, happiness and sadness and so on and on... (:
The boy fetched me from work and surprised me with my first sunflower. (ehhhh... I thought he was supposed to grow one for me.... ) But wells.. flowers makes me happy.
Spending our 911th day together at Osia @ RWS.
Thirsty Hippo (:
The awesome bread!
Probably one of the nicer breads you can get at a fine dining restaurant.
The breads were heavily seasoned; the bottom half tasted a bit like curry and the top portion was a little cheesy.
With a little Pistachio Cream Cheese, the bread was oh so yummy!
Not to mention, we were starving.
The tooth-paste look alike Pistachio Cream Cheese.
If we can buy this, I would eat this with any toasted french loaf!
Yummmms!
200gms wagyu steak, that cost $120! woo hoo!
And that's definitely the bf's!
He really knows how to pamper himself eh!
It was cooked pretty well, but a little too salty.
The sweet potatoes were not too bad though. (:
Sauteed mushrooms and chive mash potatoes.
The sauteed mushrooms is a must for a side! (:
The portion is so small!
But that's what you get for fine dining.
After dinner we headed to beer market for Aik's farewell party. His efforts paid off and now he is heading to Portland! Really happy for him.
Dedication and passion gets you to what you want. (:
Beer market uses a trading concept to sell their beer. Interesting concept. But I think the place is over-rated though. Or maybe it's just not my kind of place.
Take care Aik! Hope you had fun last night! Sorry I had to leave early!

Saturday afternoon and I'm having this alone while the boyfriend is hard at work.
Thanks Delphi!
I love after dinner mints (:
There goes another weekend!
And I left my mcat book in my bf's place so I can't study this weekend. Sigh
I need to get my act together soon.
Hope all of you would have a great weekend yah!
xoxo
Steph
And yes! Wicked is coming to Singapore! End of the year! (:
I must catch it this time instead of staring at it from across the road at Chat Thai.
See you at the MBS theater at the end of the year!
