Mid Autumn Festival

It's better known as Moon-Cake or Lantern Festival to kids. As kids we got it all wrong. It's supposed to be the Mid Autumn celebration but instead we looked forward to carrying the lanterns, eating lots of mooncakes and little pigs from the basket and last but not least creating a bon-fire during the mid-autumn festival. :D

Kai and I decided to reminisce the good old days.
The moon cakes he bought from RWS came with 2 pink colored awesome lanterns.

Before lighting and setting up our lanterns, the RWS lanterns looked like this.

And ta - da!
All ready to go for our ECP lantern walk.
Even though there were kids staring at us, we don't care! :P
Well, we are definitely not the only ones doing it too :D
Just wait and see....

Mine (:
Kai and his lantern... on the rocks.
Us on the rocks. And playing with our cheap cheap sparklers that cost $2.60 for 6 boxes. While there was an auntie selling the exact same one as the one I got for $7 bucks? WOAH!

The boy... so happy.
See what I mean! ;p

And so we met Shawn and Lauren on the rocks too! Such a coincident! :D

Lauren, Me and Kai on the rocks. (:
Us (:
Although we sat facing the sea, honestly, I was too busy trying to light my sparklers up and playing with my lantern to even appreciate the tranquility and sound of the waves.

Shawn and Lauren.
The photo quality is so bad....
damn my iphone4 cammy sux!
I was supposed to bring my camera out, but I totally forgot! Despite placing it right under my glass dining table, RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME, before I left my home!
Dumbo me! :(
And my polaroid cammy was at Kai's place.

Before we left, I still had 6 boxes of sparklers left, that's about 36 sparklers.
Well I didn't use all to do this....

I'm so glad we went over to ECP to take a stroll with our lanterns and contributed a bit more to the haze with our sparklers. *oops*
Although, yes, I was very very tired from a long day at work, and I have lots of stuffs to do today as well. Work has been busy. And will be for the next few weeks.
There may be long nights.
Even up to 2-3am. :S

This is the first time I'm celebrating mid-autumn together with him.
So glad we did.
(:

Good night everyone!

xoxo
Steph
