the December hot date!

Reality just started sinking in after I landed in Singapore this morning at 0050 from Hongkong, and it sank in really fast.

But nevertheless, I'm here to share with you what we did for our post December Hot date. We did it in January instead because he was away during the last week of December and was also too busy prepping for his one year in Malaysia.

There is a Titanic - The Artifact Exhibition going on at Marina Bay Sands Arts and Science Exhibition Museum. I set my eyes on this prize possession 2 months back and told him I want to go there!
I have always been a fan of history. (:

Deck with my new favorite toy, my Olympus EP3 (thnx daring!) , off I go with the boy to the Museum! (:
I'm still learning how to use my cammy, so pardon me if the pictures aren't that pretty, yet.

It's $21 bux if you have an OCBC creditcard/debit card.
p.s this tix allows you to enter both the titanic exhibition and the cartier time art exhibition.

This is so random, but I'm in love with dark red nails (:

Various levels of the Art and Science Exhibition Museum.

Cartier Time Art Exhibition.
Not a fan of cartier watches, but it was interesting to find out how these watches came about, how they were hand crafted and made, the Geneva Seal which is an important aspect of the watch and the many time pieces exhibited since their early days.

Outside the Titanic gallery. It has been 100 years since Titanic has sunk.
p.s taking of pictures is prohibited inside the exhibition. Therefore you won't be able to see any here.
You got to go there to check it out yourself! ;)

Us in grainy black and white art mode.
Outside MBS.

The arts and science museum.

Basically the whole exhibition is constructed in a way that brings you through what is inside the ship itself, from the different decks of classes, show casing the rooms and the bunks, the eating galleries, the outer decks, the boiler rooms till the very end just before and after the ship sank.

Some of the stories were also pretty moving, many men sacrifice their lives, putting their wives and children on the safety boats and they themselves bravely perished together with the ship.

If you like history, you should go for this.
They won't be here for long.
So don't procrastinate too long!

Malaysia and Hongkong post will be up next!
Stay tune!

ps we will still try to continue to have this hot date monthly even though we are apart.
Looks like I would be flying more often.
(:

xoxo
Steph
