The blessed union of two people hopelessly madly in love with each other.

A big congratulations to my big brother and to my new sister-in-law.
They have now entered the next chapter of their lives, together as one, forever.

It was such a blessed and beautiful occasion.
Tiring I must admit, but nevertheless it was successful and joyous.

In order of their big big day!

24th November 2012
Their registry of marriage was held in Melbourne at the Church of Christ, Swanston Street.
It was held in the old chapel, crafted many many years ago(I have no idea when... maybe early 1900? ) the high ceiling, painted colored glass, solid wooden floors, beautiful I must say.

The day started very early, my family wasn't staying in the city for once, we crashed at our cousin's place in Doncaster, which is about 20-30 mins drive to the brother's place.
Early morning, we had to do our own hair, make-up before proceeding to doll up our mommy.
One of us arm with the hair pins and hair spray (that's me!) and the other daughter with the make-up brush and kit (that's Sel!)
Oh and not to forget, helped the father touch up his hair too with some hair spray.

We arrived in good time at the brother's place, we were all dressed up, while Jess was half way through her hair with the make-up-artist.
And then begun...Selena and I started snapping away.

These are some of the pictures taken that special day.

My sister's dream make up kit box....

Getting ready to leave for the Church

Gahhh! Brudder kept pressing the close button while I was trying to get a shot! Never mind.. I still like this pix. Heh!

Doing up Jess's hair. Taken by Sel.

Matron of Honor doing her duty.

Maid of Honor and Matron of Honor in "serious" conversation before heading downstairs.

The self made bouquet of flowers.
Anyone of you fancy a Royal-like-princessy wedding?
They did it!
We had a horse carriage to take us to the Church. The weather was predicted to be hawt and sunny... indeed the sun was not forgiving, the aussie UV is really highly penetrating to your skin. Within minutes, we can feel that we were getting burned! So we decided to cover up the horse carriage till we arrived closer to the venue.

Jess and her horse carriage.

Love her expression here!

Me and my facinators and flowers...

The sister acting oh so cool.

Jess and Hazel.

Happy and excited bride. Just before arriving at the church.

Happy. (:
I didn't get to take any pictures in the church, didn't have the time to take out my camera to snap away. And I was supposed to be looking all good and pretty too right? Heh!

But I must say, Jess's vows were pretty touching.
I nearly wanted to cry too!

Well... so they are happily married under the house of God and in God's name. Praise the Lord!
May the Lord bless their marriage and lives.

I would like to end off with this picture that I took of them at the park during their Melbourne photoshoot.

Next post would be about their Singapore wedding... and then the long awaited and anticipated Korea trip!
Mans I'm so sad that 2 weeks flew by just like that!
POOF!
Mummy it's overrrrrrrrr! NOoooOoo!

Okie..One last pix.....

Before I forget..
Happy New Year!

Steph
