The January Hawt Date

And I'm back with the hot dates!
Apologies that I had to stop it last year because he moved to KL and I went over in June too. And the rest is history, I have no idea what did I/we do for the rest of the 6 months I was there with him, other then shuffling up and down KL and Singapore, had a holiday in Melbourne, preparation for the brother's wedding and then subsequently and finally moved back to Singapore in December.

Without further a do....
Here I present to you what we did in January.

Gardens by the Bay.

I have been wanting to check out this place for a while, always drive by it but never entered it. And the boyfriend always goes to the range near the east entrance too. So this time we went to check it out. The boy isn't a fan of heat and just nice that day it was very sunny! tee hee hee!

We only did the OCBC Skyway that day because there was a part 2 to our date...

Strangely it's so much cooler up and above the Skyway as compared to being shaded by the hundred and one trees and plants.  Because of the heat, we didn't take much pictures at the bottom.

Acting touristy, posing with the Skyway.

On top the OCBC Skyway. Finally fresh air! :D

Tee Hee Hee!
The boyfriend was so smart he knew what I was up to !
*grinz*

The OCBC Skyways are connected with 2 of their "weird" "alienish" looking towers, well that's what we often call those towers when we see them along the ECP.

The Skyway is nothing much actually other than the height and cooling breeze. And it's pretty short. I think the HSBC Tree Top Walk is nicer.

The weather was so hot that day we didn't want to carry on walking around and we headed straight back to the main area hunting for ice cream!
Seventh Heaven is the only ice cream parlor there, we were so looking forward to a nice cold ice cream but were totally disappointed
with it. Boo hoo! We ordered an apple sorbet , it was totally sour and tasted artificial. :( Didn't like it at all, I offered it ALL to the boy.

So we left Gardens by the Bay to head to pre-part 2 of the date ...
It's pre because I wanted to do this in March! Perhaps I will do it again (:

 Marina Barrage

We went to join my gf and her other half to fly kite.
It took us a while to get the kite up, I had to try to remember how my dad taught us how to fly a kite and his efforts he taught us when we were younger did not go to waste. We managed to get the kite flying for a while but it was cut by someone else kite :( Our poor kite was then stuck on top of the solar panel roof never to be retrieved again! BOO HOO!

Ever since then, I have been bugging the boyfriend to go fly kite again, although I know he doesn't like the heat, I know he will still do it :P

Kite flying is so much more fun then just walking around and taking pictures.
I have already a few in mind, so stay tune!

Till then!

Have a great weekend my secret readers!

xoxo
Steph
